Gather the following parts

2x 490mm T-slot

1x 470mm T-slot

2x 190mm T-slot

12x T-slot corner bracket

24x T-slot bracket set screws

Take the 2.5mm allen key, the T-slot corner brackets, and the set screws and start to thread the set screws into them from the inside of the corner as shown.

You should only need to turn the screws about 2 turns until they stay in place.

Repeat for the 12 gathered brackets

Take one of the 490mm and 190mm T-slots and lay them out as shown.

Take two of the corner brackets and slot them into the 490mm T-slot.

Take the 190mm T-slot and insert it onto the other side of the brackets.

Tighten the set screws until the bracket doesn’t slide around in the T-slot

Repeat with the other pair of 490mm & 190mm T-slots to form the second corner.

Take the 470mm T-slot, one of the frame halves from the previous step, and two corner brackets

Slide the corner brackets onto the 190mm length side of the frame half

Slide the 470mm T-slot onto the other end of the corner brackets

Tighten the set screws until the bracket doesn’t slide around in the T-slot, but not fully

Take the two halves of the frame and 6 corner brackets

Slide the corner brackets onto the second half of the frame as shown.

Start joining the halves by aligning the brackets with their joining slots.

Once aligned, slot the connectors into their destination.

Start tightening the brackets on the corners of the frame, making sure to keep the corners aligned.

After tightening the corners with the 2.5mm Allen key, check that the pieces are flush with each other. You may have to loosen other corners to make sure they are aligned.

You can leave the cross brace loose for now, as it will need to be aligned later, but tighten the set screws on the brace itself.

• Gather the following:

Arm Frame base

T-slots:

• 100mm T-slot

• 120mm T-slot

• 220mm T-slot

• 280mm T-slot

16x M4 T-slot nut

14x M4 10mm screws

Take the arm base plate and inspect it.

• Notice that there is a circular indention on one side of the plate.

• Put the base plate with the indention facing down.

Take the 280mm T-slot and insert 5 T-slot nuts into one side.

Place the T-slot next to the base plate and roughly align the nuts with the holes in the base plate.

Place the base plate on top of the T-slot and align one of the nuts at one end with the hole in the base plate.

• Take an M4 screw and get it hand tight in the nut.

Take the remaining four screws and hand tighten them into the other four nuts.

Take the 120mm T-slot and three T-slot nuts.

Insert the nuts into a single rail side of the T slot.

Align them with the holes in the next side of the base plate.

Take three M4 screws and attach the T-slot to the plate.

• Take the 100mm T-slot and four T-slot nuts.

Insert two nuts in the top and bottom of the T-slot.

Lay the T slot next to the short side of the base plate with the large hole.

Align the nuts on one side of the T-slot with the screw holes on the side of the base plate with the large hole.

Hand tighten two M4 screws into the nuts

• Take the 220mm T-slot and four T-slot nuts.

Insert the four nuts in the top of the T slot

Align the nuts on one side of the T-slot with the screw holes on the final side of the base plate.

Attach the T-slot to the base plate with four M4 screws.

• Gather:

Insert the two T slot nuts into the upper side-slot of one of the long sides of the frame and push them to the other end.

If the set screws are not already in the corner brackets, prepare the T slot brackets as shown in step 3.

• Insert two of the brackets into the same long side of the frame in the top and bottom slots with the set screw side first.

Insert the other two brackets into the long side of the frame in the top and bottom slots with the set screw side last.

space out the two pairs of brackets to align with the T slots of the arm base.

Slide the base T-slots onto the brackets.

• Before the screws are tightened on the brackets joining the arm base and frame, we need to make sure they are parallel to each other.

Take another piece of T-slot (any of the sizes used in the arm will do)

Insert the T slot in between the arm base and the frame.

• Adjust the position of the two T-slots going into the brackets to where they are both flush with the T-slot frame. If you can’t move the T slots in the base, loosen the M4 screws a little.

Once the extra T-slot is flush with both the arm base and the frame, check that the longer T-slot on the base is flush with the back of the base.

Once done, fully tighten the 14 screws on the arm base.

• Tighten the four set screws attached to the base.

While still joined with the corner brackets, slide the arm base to where it is about centered on the frame.

Tighten the eight set screws on the corner brackets.

It is preferred to tighten the set screws joining to the frame square before the arm base. This makes it easier to keep the base T-slots flush to the long frame piece.

• Gather:

Take the 12 T-slot nuts and insert three into each of the four T-slots of the rectangular frame.

• Group them up to where there are three in each corner.

Take one of the brackets and align the nuts to the holes on the bracket.

Attach the bracket to the frame with three M4 10mm screws.

Repeat this for the other three brackets.

Take four of the feet and screw them into the corner brackets.

Take the other two feet and screw them into the M8 threaded holes on the arm base plate.

Flip over the completed frame and adjust the screw feet so that all 6 are contacting the table.

• The base frame is done, Congratulations!

• For a final check, compare your build to the picture.
